The Photographer behind the Lens
Photography has always been part of my life. I’ve always preferred being behind the camera — observing what’s happening and capturing moments as they unfold naturally.
I started studying photography around eight years ago at GCSE level, and what began as a subject quickly turned into something I wanted to pursue more seriously. Since then, I’ve continued developing my skills and shaping a documentary-led approach to the way I work.
What interests me most is the history of photography — from early film cameras to today’s digital systems. Understanding how the craft has evolved gives me a deeper appreciation for every image I create. For me, photography isn’t just about taking photos; it’s about documenting moments honestly and contributing to a wider visual story.
